Anshun,a hilly town in the province of Guizhou, is noted for its mighty Huangguoshu waterfalls.

I visited the place in winter so the place was not very impressive.
It would be awe-inspiring if you visit the place in spring.

As you can see, you can go behind the waterfall. The footpath is known as
"shuiliandong" in Chinese which means "water curtain cave".

Guizhou is a mountainous province, there is this saying about
Guizhou in China: (in Guizhou)Sunny weather doesn't last for three
consecutive days and flat land seldom stretches for three feet 
("tian wu sanri qin, di wu sanchi ping" in Mandarin). The mountains
are always shrouded in mist which can be quite dangerous for travellers
as most of the roads in the province twist and turn like roller coaster.
