Xiaguan is the twin city ofDali. In contrast to Dali,which is renowned
for its culture and natural beauty, Xiaguan is an industrial hub. The town is also called the windy city of
Yunnan. If you want to take a cruise of Erhai, you must come to this park first because here is the starting point.

on a half-day tour of Erhai Lake in Dali.In Chinese,"er" means ear
and "hai" is sea. The Bai people who are the dominant ethnic group
in this region refer to any large body of water as "hai". Howver, the
shape of "Erhai" really resembles an ear. Of course,
you only realise it from the air. Oh yes we also got to sample "San Dao Cha"
-a kind of Chinese tea which is the specialty of the Bai people, on board the
cruise ship. Guests were also entertained to graceful Bai traditional dances.
